Vision plans and pro bono design services

P+A has worked with numerous community development groups, municipalities, nonprofits and other stakeholders to identify and design innovative yet practical solutions to improve river access, riverfronts and adjacent recreational areas. Projects include pro bono design services to Friends of the Riverfront and Sustainable Pittsburgh for unique canoe and kayak racks; riverfront access plans for the communities of Millvale and Lawrenceville on the Allegheny River; an urban kayak landing on the Monongahela River; and a prototype for live/work river lofts utilizing recycled steel barges.
