Neighborhood community plan

“The Polish Hill Community Plan: A Community Vision for the Future of Polish Hill” is a comprehensive master plan focused on ecology, the arts and community building. The first phase involved a series of surveys and “micro-events” or informal conversations, walking tours and discussions to get people talking about Polish Hill and to introduce the planners to the neighborhood. The second phase included a series of community meetings and workshops to discuss the future of the neighborhood and develop recommendations to make Polish Hill a better place. Working with a highly motivated and innovative steering committee, Pfaffmann + Associates developed strategies to support housing, improve gateways, and bridge some of the gaps that currently exist within the community by preserving culture and connecting the neighborhood’s generations.
