P+A created a new entity out of the former Furniture Design Department, enveloping students in a state-of-the-art facility, which by the nature of its design is itself a teaching tool. Conceived as a new piece of furniture set within an existing space, all materials and methods were considered for their value in illustrating environmentally responsible design and new technologies.
