The new headquarters of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, owners of Fallingwater, was located in a reuse of a 35,000-square foot, speculative office building (800 Waterfront Drive) on Washington's Landing, a brownfield site on an island in the Allegheny River. The new offices are designed with green design principles and focus on recycling existing spaces and materials and their embodied energy.
