The History Center is an adaptive reuse of the former Chautauqua Lake Ice Company warehouse. The 160,000-square-foot initial phase was developed by Rob Pfaffmann while employed with Bohlin Cywinski Jackson. P+A later designed an additional 13,000-square-foot special collections gallery, a new signage system, a child-friendly Kidsburgh exhibit, and a new rotating exhibits gallery.
